AI for small business
Learn AI from a teacher. Make more time for people.
Practical, personal AI training for small-business owners and their teams.
Learn to use tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to spend less time on repetitive administration, improve the quality of everyday business content and make more room for customers, staff and the work you do best.
Core Education Design brings an experienced teacher into the process, with clear explanations, relevant examples and support as you practise. Learn in person or live by video, with someone there to answer your questions and help you improve.
In-person training across Australia and live by video. Travel costs are added to standard pricing for onsite services outside the Newcastle region and agreed in writing before booking.
The work that matters
Your business runs on human skill
The work you do, the care you take and the relationships you build are central to your business. AI can help with the writing, organising and planning that surround that work.
The aim is to give your expertise more room: less time lost to repeated drafting and rework, fewer avoidable administration costs, and digital work that reflects the quality of your service.
Trades & property maintenance
Turn job notes into clear customer updates, prepare quote descriptions from your scope, and draft replies to common enquiries.
Professional & business services
Turn meeting notes into action lists, shape proposal drafts from your brief, and make reports easier for clients to understand.
Personal services & wellbeing
Prepare friendly booking replies, explain your services clearly, and turn real offers into useful promotional content.
Retail & online stores
Create product descriptions from verified details, draft replies to delivery questions, and make sense of a sales spreadsheet.
Property & real estate
Draft listings from verified property facts, organise inspection notes, and prepare clear owner and tenant updates.
Hospitality, tourism & events
Prepare guest replies, turn event details into a run sheet, and create promotional drafts for your packages and offers.
Whether you run the business or support the team, learn with examples that fit your working week. You bring the facts and judgement; Darren helps you use AI to turn them into clear, useful work.
Learn with a person
Personal teaching makes the learning useful
Online tutorials offer plenty of ideas. Working with an experienced teacher helps you understand which ideas fit your business and how to put them into practice.
We start with the work that takes your time. Darren explains the process, demonstrates it and supports you as you try it yourself. You can ask questions as they arise, revisit a step and get feedback on the result.
You learn how to give AI useful instructions, recognise weak answers and improve the output. The purpose is to build skills you can use independently in your working week.
Better judgement. Better work.
See the difference good judgement makes
Consider a customer asking a plumber about a leaking tap.
An unchecked AI draft
“Your repair is booked for Thursday at 1 pm. We will fix the tap for $120, with no additional charges.”
A draft checked against the actual service details
“We can offer an inspection on Thursday between 1 pm and 3 pm. The inspection fee is $120 including GST. We will quote separately for any repairs. Would that time suit you?”
Both sound professional. Only the second accurately explains the offer. During training, you learn to recognise invented details, supply the right information and check the result before it reaches a customer.
Illustrative training example using fictional business details.
