Method, integration and software are not the same thing.
Core Education can adapt the educational architecture behind learner visibility. Technical delivery depends on the platforms, permissions and commercial arrangements available to the school.
Outcome structures, mastery logic, information hierarchy, reporting specifications, dashboard requirements and implementation methods can be adapted to another school.
Live data, authentication, API integrations, reporting feeds and visual interfaces depend on third-party LMS, student information and software services, with their own approval and licensing requirements.
Core Education is not presently licensing a proprietary Learner Dashboard platform. Any future product access will depend on the product company, completed commercial arrangements and applicable third-party terms.
Core Education Design contributes to the Learner Dashboard under a commercial product partnership and therefore holds a commercial interest in it. That interest is declared in writing before the product is proposed to a school, and no engagement is conditional on its adoption.

The central problem is not that teachers spend too long creating excellent resources. It is that the time available rarely matches the time required for comprehensive, high-quality development. Schools therefore absorb two costs: staff workload and a quality ceiling. Core Education Design changes the production system. It gives teachers coherent architecture, reusable structures and customised tools so the limited time available can produce stronger, more consistent and more strategically aligned resources.

Teachers use the hours available, often supported by overtime and goodwill. Repeated setup, formatting and compliance work consume time that could otherwise strengthen sequencing, pedagogy, differentiation and assessment.

Evidence and model boundaries
Grattan’s 2022 survey drew responses from 2,243 Australian teachers and school leaders. It found that teachers with access to a common bank of high-quality materials save about three hours a week, because they do not have to source and create materials themselves. AITSL reports that 40% of full-time classroom teachers spend at least ten hours weekly on lesson planning and preparation, with a further substantial cohort reporting five to nine hours.
CED’s model is adjacent to, but distinct from, Grattan’s shared-materials model. CED builds the local architecture, templates, workflows and customised tools through which teachers can produce school-specific resources more efficiently. The school retains control of curriculum decisions and teachers retain agency over what and how they teach.
Professional learning-development studies have reported development-to-instruction ratios of approximately 24:1 for adapted content and 38:1 for traditional design. These studies were conducted in corporate and higher-education instructional-development settings. They are not Australian school curriculum benchmarks and do not validate a direct quality equivalence claim. They are relevant only as context: comprehensive instructional-resource development is normally highly time-intensive. CED is designed to make many of the design features associated with intensive development achievable in routine school workflows.
