Every introductory and full-day booking includes 12 months of online learning resources for its named participants. All prices below are in Australian dollars, including GST.
Onsite training is available across Australia. Travel costs are added to standard pricing for onsite services outside the Newcastle region and agreed in writing before booking. Any hired-venue charges are also agreed before booking.

We discuss the work, explain the essentials and guide you through creating, checking and improving a useful result. You leave with a reusable prompt, a clear next step and access to refresher resources.

A practical introduction for owners and staff who want to build confidence together and apply AI to everyday business tasks.
The session combines demonstrations, short critical-thinking activities and guided practice. Your team learns to improve instructions, check outputs, handle business information thoughtfully and recognise ethical and copyright issues.
Participants leave with reusable prompts and an action plan for applying their learning at work. Assessment for the digital credential is separate.
Applied Foundations

Build a broader set of practical skills, with time to practise, receive feedback and demonstrate what you have learned.
The course covers customer communication, promotional content, spreadsheet checking, reusable instructions, critical thinking, data safety and responsible AI use. You compare first drafts with checked results and apply the process to realistic business examples.
Includes six learning hours plus breaks, individual assessment, feedback and one resubmission. Participants who meet the assessment requirements earn the AI for Small Business: Applied Foundations digital credential.

- A monthly update explaining relevant AI changes and what they mean for small business.
Resources support your independent practice. Further personal teaching can be booked when you want help with a new task or the next stage of learning.
AI for Small Business: Applied Foundations
A credential earned through practical work
AI for Small Business: Applied Foundations recognises demonstrated introductory capability in using AI for everyday business tasks.
To earn it, you complete a knowledge check and individual practical work showing that you can give useful instructions, evaluate an output, make corrections and explain responsible data-handling decisions.
The credential includes a verification link that employers or clients can use to check the issuer and assessment criteria. It is issued by Core Education Design and is not a nationally recognised qualification. Attendance alone does not earn the credential.
The full-day course includes assessment. Introduction participants can complete the additional online learning and book assessment for AU$214.50 including GST ($195 + GST) per person. This includes feedback and one resubmission.

Questions before you book
Do we need any AI experience?
No. The introductions are designed for beginners. Tell us what you have already tried, if anything, and we will choose an appropriate starting point.
Will we learn ChatGPT, Claude or both?
We agree one platform beforehand so you have time to practise, and explain how the skills transfer to other tools.
Do we need a paid AI subscription?
We explain suitable account options and any required subscription costs before you book, based on your tasks and data requirements. Subscriptions are separate from the training fee.
How do you cover privacy and responsible use?
You learn what to share, what to keep out, how account choices affect data handling, and when stronger controls are needed. We cover checking claims, copyright and human approval over important actions. Practice starts with fictional or approved public information.
Where does training take place, and what do we need?
At your workplace or a suitable hired venue across Australia, or live by video. Travel costs are added to standard pricing for onsite services outside the Newcastle region and agreed in writing before booking. Bring a laptop and an agreed AI account. We confirm internet and display arrangements beforehand. Tell us about any access or learning requirements when you enquire.
Can I join a workshop with other business owners?
Register your interest in a hosted Applied Foundations workshop: AU$654.50 including GST ($595 + GST) per person, with assessment and 12-month resource access. We provide dates, venue and booking conditions when confirmed.
Can you teach a larger group?
Yes. Groups larger than 12 receive a tailored proposal with facilitator support suited to the practical learning required.
Can we book more help later?
Returning customers can book a 60-minute video coaching session for AU$495 including GST ($450 + GST). A 90-minute video refresher for up to eight previous participants is AU$825 including GST ($750 + GST). Each focuses on one agreed topic. These follow-ups do not start a new annual resource-access term.
What happens after our 12 months of resources?
Renewal is optional. Annual access is AU$214.50 including GST for one person, or AU$654.50 including GST for up to eight people in one business. Additional seats are AU$66 including GST each, up to 12 people in total. We invite you to renew before your access ends. Your earned credential remains verifiable independently of resource membership.
